A Peace for Health Campaign was conducted by Asossa, Debre Berhan, Chancho, Gulele, and Arbaminch-Dega Ocholo local units (Arbaminch-Dega Ocholo along with family planning) in June 2023 to increase awareness of the advantages of peace in preserving physical and mental health. 25 Peace Agents in each region were trained by WHAE in advance of the campaigns, and they served as the campaign's driving force. WHAE also recruited 5 Peace Diplomats to consistently further the Peace for Health project in the regions.
