Harar has three local units so far. All the three local units have gone through the formal health education and campaigns and are now running businesses. The first local unit did food processing, ran a public toilet and shower. This local unit is also given a shop by the local authorities for selling ‘baltina products and injera.’ The second local unit runs a vegetable stall and a soap production business. The above two local units have graduated. The current local unit is engaged in food processing and they have been granted a production space by the local government.
