One of the most crucial conditions for closing the gender gap in economic empowerment is the creation of employment opportunities for low-income women. Often, women's economic empowerment is hampered by the lack of accessible daycare. WHAE is aware how access to daycare may significantly enhance the lives of women and that access to daycare has a direct impact on women’s economic empowerment, girls’ education and child safety. The right to women’s economic empowerment, girls’ education, gender equality and child safety are inseparable from the right to work and live. The objectives of the program are to promote gender equality, to uphold women’s economic empowerment, to encourage girls’ education, to promote child safety, to encourage the development of the cognitive skills of children, and to bridge the awareness gap in the benefits of childcare services.
